Titus Kaphar’s Exhibiting Forgiveness runs through January 3, 2027 and brings together nine paintings Kaphar created for his film Exhibiting Forgiveness. The work explores memory, family, trauma, healing and forgiveness - and Mia describes the exhibition as a place where viewers can consider their own experiences of healing and resilience. You don't have to know anything about contemporary art to appreciate this exhibit. The subject is human and recognizable: What do we do with painful memories? Can we forgive someone who hurt us? What does healing actually look like? In Gallery 333 – free and open to everyone.
