Bank of America Cardholders' Free STEM Day Admission at Mill City Museum, Nov. 7–8

Mill City Museum features one of the Twin Cities’ most interactive STEM/STEAM learning labs. During the weekend of November 7-8, families can experience it for free thanks to Bank of America’s Museums on Us program, which affords cardholders free general admission.

Visitors can experience these hands-on STEM experiences inside the mill ruins:

  • Physics of Waterpower: Manipulate dams and hydro-turbines in the Water Lab to see how the Mississippi River powered the city.

  • Food Science: Explore wheat, gluten, and yeast inside the Baking Lab.

  • Combustion & Engineering: Witness live flour-dust explosion demos that forced 19th-century engineers to invent safety ventilation.

  • Design & Architecture: See how ruins preservation blends creative STEAM design with engineering.

The Minnesota History Center and Historic Fort Snelling are also particating in Bank of America's Museums on Us program. Make a weekend of it!
