Historic open studio tours feature more than 450 artists for fall and holiday inspiration
In Northeast Minneapolis, it’s all art, all the time, with two major destinations presenting significant open studio events right on time for holiday shopping and year-round inspiration. More than 450 artists and about 140 open studios will participate in Art Attack!, California Dreamin’, Open Casket, and associated open studio events Nov. 13-15.
Art Attack! at the Northrup King Building, California Dreamin’ at the California Building, Open Casket at the Casket Arts Building are free and open to the public. All three feature art in a wide variety of disciplines: from painting, printmaking and photography to pottery, mixed media, jewelry, furniture, woodworking, textiles, sculpture and more.
“You don’t have to wait for Art-A-Whirl in May to experience great art. Northeast artists are here year-round, and Art Attack!, California Dreamin’, and Open Casket are standout events. Make a plan to attend this inspiring weekend in our vibrant arts neighborhood this fall!” Anna Becker, executive director of Northeast Minneapolis Art Association (NEMAA)
Additional studio buildings open over the November 13–15 weekend include:
