Traffic Alert - Open Streets Downtown Update

First Avenue North from Washington Avenue North to Eight Street South, and Washington Avenue North from Eighth Avenue North to First Avenue North will be closed to motorized traffic from 11:00am - 5:00pm on Sunday, July 10 to accommodate Downtown Open Street events.

This is a free event, open to everyone.  It gives people the opportunity to enjoy biking, walking, skating, playing and using wheelchairs on their neighborhood streets without the presence of motorized traffic. For more information on this year’s events, visit the Open Streets Minneapolis website.
