Signs of the Times - Valspar & Pillsbury

Historic signs have been a hot topic at City Hall recently.  Valspar won a zoning variance to allow for preservation of 'ghost signs" uncovered during exterior renovation of their old headquarters building in the Mill District.   The restoration and re-lighting of the Pillsbury Best Flour sign on the Minneapolis Riverfront goes before the Heritage Preservation Commission tomorrow.  Staff reports and pictures below:
