Minneapolis Police Department Looking for Speakers for Community Engagement Series with Officers

Via a February 8 City of Minneapolis e-newsletter:

Minneapolis Police Department Looking for Speakers for Community Engagement Series with Officers

February 6, 2015 (MINNEAPOLIS) As part of the Minneapolis Police Department’s increased focus on continuous community engagement, we are seeking qualified speakers to share neighborhood perspectives and local history with our Officers on a Precinct level. The MPD Community Speaker Series will enable Officers and Supervisors to learn from the select speakers’ insight, giving them a broader view of the communities they serve.

So far we have identified several great speakers, but the MPD is also looking for more. Send your name, address and an explanation on how you would present community perspectives, local history and ways to build partnerships with the Officers in your local police precinct to:

Scott.seroka@minneapolismn.gov

Please use “Community Speaker Series” in the subject line of your email. We will go through each entry and respond to your individual inquiry.
