Invitation to 2015 Budget Community Meeting with Mayor Hodges on November 12

Minneapolis City of Lakes

Via a November 4, 2014, e-newsletter from Mayor Betsy Hodges:

Dear Friend,

Over the past couple months, I have shared with you details about my proposed budget for 2015, which makes deliberate and intentional investments in running the city well, growing the city, and advancing equity.

I will have more details to share with you through email, but I want to take this opportunity to invite you to attend a community meeting on the budget that I am co-hosting with Council Members John Quincy, Linea Palmisano, and Elizabeth Glidden.

This community meeting is an opportunity for you to learn more about what my recommended budget includes, to provide feedback, and to ask questions you may have.

2015 Budget Community Meeting
Wednesday, November 12
7:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Mayflower Church
106 E. Diamond Lake Road, Minneapolis

I hope you can join us at this meeting.  Budgets are where we get to have the most impact on our goals and priorities, where we get to deliver on what we voted for. I look forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely,

Mayor Betsy Hodges
City of Minneapolis

P.S. To learn more about how I’m working to address the issues affecting our city, sign up for my e-mail update or check out my website or my blog.
