Get Set for a Permanent Detour - 5th Street Ramp to Close

The plan for the stadium site is to close 5th street and make 6th street a wider, two way street.

5th Street (and the ramp from I94) near the new Vikings Stadium will close beginning Monday, March 30, 2015. Notication signs are posted at 5th and 11th streets to alert commuters. The detour route is 11th Avenue to 7th Street to Park Avenue (see attached map), until 6th Street has been constructed into a two way road later this year. Be prepared to make alternate travel plans.  Scroll the document below for map of the affected area:
