Friends of the Mississippi River Announces Annual Science Museum Event

Friends of the Mississippi River recently announced their annual Science Museum event will take place Thursday, March 26, 7-8:30pm at the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul.

The High Price of Cheap Groundwater: Are We Flushing Our Future Downstream?

Capacity is limited and advance registration required. This event is free, and advance museum access and parking are included.

As reported in the FMR newsletter and multiple media outlets, groundwater levels are declining in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. FMR is proud to offer a special, localized presentation on this vital topic featuring Ali Elhassan of the Metropolitan Council and Dr. James Almendinger, Senior Scientist at the St. Croix Watershed Research Station of the Science Museum of Minnesota.
