Free Valentine’s Eve Wedding Ceremonies by Hennepin Judges

Via a February 3 Hennepin County e-newsletter:

Fourteen Fourth Judicial District judges invite couples to register for free wedding ceremonies on Valentine’s Eve, over the noon hour.

“As a bench, we wanted to help celebrate the holiday in a unique way – and to help people easily remember their anniversaries in the future," said Honorable William Koch. "This was a fun event for us, and allowed us to give a little back to our military members and first responders, as well as general members of the public.”

12:00 p.m. Program starts

Welcome – Honorable William Koch, Fourth Judicial District
Music performed by Fourth Judicial District judges
Weddings will occur approximately every 15 minutes.

Hennepin County Government Center
300 South Sixth Street
Skyway-level reflection pool

WHO:

Military, first responders and civilian couples will be married in Hennepin County by 14 judges. The event spotlights positive outreach to the citizens of Hennepin County about District Court, the Resident and Real Estate Services department's services, and the Government Center.
