SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The battle to protect Minnesota's waterways from invasive carp species will have to be a team effort, according to Gov. Mark Dayton. That's why he summoned the state's top aquatic life experts to the Capitol Friday for what he dubbed an Asian Carp Summit. The future of the state's $2 billion fishing industry is at stake, as well as the survival of some native species.
