From an email I just received:

I would like to thank you for contacting me regarding the Crown Hydro proposal on the Central Riverfront.   The benefits of the limited power production would not outweigh the aesthetic value of the falls as an historic site and park amenity.  I have not seen any new documentation from the Crown Hydro lobbyists, cadre of attorneys or engineers that has provided information to the contrary.
