October 24, 2012, Wednesday - Breakfast with a Preservationist at the Mill City Museum

Time: 8:00am to 9:00am

Location: Mill City Museum, ADM Conference Room: 6th Floor, 710 South Second Street

Preserve Minneapolis

Each Breakfast With a Preservation event features a presentation or a moderated discussion about a specific topic. Past sessions have included a presentation on historic preservation in Cuba, an audience-participation conversation about the best Modern buildings in Minneapolis, and a panel discussion about Riverside Plaza (Cedar Square West).

This event is free!

Historic preservation is often thought of as the arena of “little old ladies in running shoes.” However, the profession has attracted people of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds. October’s BWAP will present a panel of young preservationists who are “sub-30” and will share their perspectives on the profession and what they hope to achieve in the next decade.

Parking is available in a ramp across the street or along South Second Street in metered spaces. We begin a bit at 8:00 a.m. Coffee and bakery items will be available, as will the usual great questions and commentary.
