Mill City Farmers Market and the Mill City Museum are teaming up again to create an exciting celebration of bread-baking in America! This event will be the first of an annual event spotlighting the healthy goodness and nourishment of bread-baking.

WHAT’S NEW:
- What’s the best compliment to bread? BUTTER! Local D’Lish General Store will be sampling the delicious butter from Hope Creamery.
- Ames Farm has a beautiful new crop of apples for all your baking and munching needs! Some of their varieties include Sweet Sixteen, Honeycrisp, and Chestnut Crab.
- The bakers from Solomon’s Snacks & Bakery are bringing fall flavors in their pastries and baked goods, with lovely pumpkin muffins and sweet potato tarts!
- Prairie Hollow Farm has their first pumpkins of the season, as well as some beautiful deep purple grapes, and fresh oyster mushrooms.
- Sunrise Flour Mill is selling a new variety of organic, open-pollinated cornmeal. It makes polenta-like you’ve never tasted before, and has potential to be incorporated into all sorts of cold-season comfort foods—delicious!
- Mill City Farmers Market will not be selling turkeys from Wild Acres Farm this year. You can find these lovely birds at Kramarczuk’s and Clancey’s Meats

Grain Art Activity for Kids, 1:00am – 1:00pm (while supplies last): Were you inspired by the crop art at the MN State Fair? Try your hand at this historic craft and learn more about whole grains!
Community Booth:
Compatible Technology International is a nonprofit organization that alleviates hunger and poverty in the developing world by designing and distributing simple, life-changing food and water technologies. They will demo grain grinders, their “tools for harvest, hope for the hungry.”
