September 29, 2011, Thursday - Talk of the Stacks: Lisa Randall at Central Library

Time: 7:00pm

Location: Pohlad Hall at Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall

Harvard professor, expert in string theory and cosmology, winner of numerous awards, Time's "100 Most Influential People" and Esquire's "75 Most Influential People," Randall’s new "Knocking on Heaven's Door" explains how scientists decide what to study and how they go about doing it. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Seating is first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
