Blanche, Rose, Sophia, and Dorothy. The gang is all here and we are back for 2018! Join other Golden Girls fans as we pay tribute to the best foursome in television history. 

Dress up as your favorite Golden Girls character and go bar-to-bar celebrating their legacy. We will kick-off the event at the Pourhouse, where we will attempt to make the Guiness Book World Record for having the most people dressed as Golden Girls under one roof. After that, we will split into four teams (Dorothy, Rose, Blanch, and Sophia) and hit Minneapolis bars. 

Pick a team (you do not have to dress up as that character, make sure everyone from your team is in that party) and you'll get a bar schedule for the day. 

Bar Crawl: 10:30 AM (Golden Girl's are early birds) to 4:30 PM

10% of all bar sales at each venue will go to Out Front Minnesota

4th Annual Jr Iron Chef Competition

Come watch as middle school students and local chefs team up for an exciting to-chef style cooking competition! Four teams, each comprised of one chef and two students, will have one hour to create a recipe on the fly for a panel of judges. The winning team will win the title of 2018 JR IRON CHEFS and see their recipe added to the MPS lunch next next year! 

This event is FREE and open to the public! Light appetizers will be provided by MPS Culinary & Wellness Services. 

MPS Culinary & Wellness Services and the True Food Chef Council host this annual event to excite students about good food and cooking, and raise awareness for our district's shifts towards more healthy, fresh, scratch-cooked meals.

Michelle Hensley ends her tenure as Ten Thousand Things’ Artistic Director with a return to the first show TTT performed: Bertolt Brecht’s The Good Person of Szechwan. The tale, told with music and humor, follows a poor woman who receives a bag of gold from the gods and is torn in two as she tries to help all her struggling friends but take care of herself at the same time. Hensley directs a cast of Christina Baldwin, Sun Mee Chomet, Joy Dolo, Tyson Forbes, Elise Langer, Harry Waters Jr, Karen Wiese-Thompson and Max Wojtanowicz.
