See the Legendary Mill District through a New Lens: Your Phone
.
Join us for an evening of history and photography in Minneapolis’ Mill District. Part hands-on workshop, part cultural exploration, our second Mill District Smartphone Photography Tour leads you through some of this area's most architecturally unique spots, and teaches phone photography techniques to use anywhere.
.
We'll start at the new/old A Mill Artist Lofts for a drink and short presentation by professional photographer Eric Mueller. Eric goes beyond filters, teaching how to maximize your smartphone for snapping amazing pictures on this tour and future excursions. The built and natural environments of the Mill District feature a range of construction styles, shapes, and textures – ideal for photographic experimentation.
.
Art history and architecture professor Kristin Anderson will join in and lead us up Main Street. You'll discover the stories behind the Mill District’s development, industry, and architecture, and stop at key points to practice your new photography skills.
.
The evening winds down at the super- photogenic Stone Arch Bridge. We’ll grab a group pic and be on our way!
