Jeff Garlin’s talent encompasses writing, producing, directing, acting and performing stand-up comedy. Garlin both co-stars and executive produces the HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm," starring "Seinfeld" creator Larry David. The unique comedy features Garlin as David’s loyal manager, Jeff Greene. The critically acclaimed series has won the Golden Globe Award for Best Comedy, The Danny Thomas Producer of the Year Award from the Producers Guild of America, and the AFI Comedy Series of the Year Award and is going into its 8th season on HBO.
The Chicago native studied filmmaking and began performing stand-up comedy while at the University of Miami. A Second City Theatre alumnus, Jeff Garlin has toured the country as a stand-up comedian. His first-ever stand-up comedy special, Young & Handsome: A Night with Jeff Garlin, was shot at the historic Second City Theatre in Chicago and premiered on Comedy Central.
In addtion to his extensive TV, film and publishing credits, Garlin wrote his first book, My Footprint in 2010 (released by Simon Spotlight). His first film as a director, which he also starred in and wrote, I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With, was released by IFC & The Weinstein Company to critical acclaim. Jeff also greatly enjoys working with Disney-Pixar Animation Studios where he most notably voiced the role of The Captain in WALL-E and he can also be heard as the voice of Buttercup in Toy Story 3. www.jeffgarlin.com
