October 30, 2010, Saturday - Spooky Stories, Creepy Creations: A Halloween Writing and Bookmaking Adventure at the Loft

Time: 9:00am-12:15pm

Location:  The Loft is located in Suite 200, Open Book, 1011 Washington Avenue South

For ages 7-11

Join MCBA and The Loft this Halloween for a hair-raising morning of creative writing and bookmaking. Start out by writing a short, spooky story with the Loft, then head to MCBA where you’ll construct a ghoulish book for your work. Put the two together and POOF! You’ve put the “BOO” into BOOK. Finally, show off your creepy creations to family and friends at an informal reception with Halloween treats at 11:30am. And please, wear your costumes!

Cost; $46.50 ($41.85 members of MCBA or The Loft). A low-income discount is also available.

Register through The Loft Literary Center at 612-379-8999 or online.
