Time:  1:30 p.m.

Location: Central Library, Pohlad Hall, 300 Nicollet Mall

Spice & Slice of Asian America: Japanese Taiko

Watch an exciting performance of a Japanese art form that goes back nearly 1000 years. Learn about its historical and cultural background. You will have a chance to try simple taiko rhythms after the performance.

This project is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
