This summer, Live Action Set jumps back on the stage with a brand new creation. This time, the award-winning, genre-bending troupe is guided by one principle: no bullshit. Mask sans mask and an 8-bit soundtrack, Basic North successfully avoids the direction leading to a lackluster blend that is the middling mean. Poignant, poetic, and amusingly astounding, Live Action Set carves out new artistic avenues in the most intriguing show of the season.
