Wilderness Inquiry Mississippi River Day Trip: Fishing with Greg Lais and Paul Labovitz

Day trips are a great way to experience the great outdoors right in your own backyard. We'll provide voyageur canoes, staff, all equipment and shuttles. Fish with Paul and Greg in their favorite fishing hole--the Mississippi River between St. Anthony Falls and the Ford Dam. Greg is WI's founder and Executive Director, and Paul is the Superintendant of the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. These two make quite a combo as they love to have fun--their banter will entertain you. They really do know how to fish, and they are eager to show you how and where to catch them! For this trip, you should bring your own fishing pole and tackle box. If you don't have gear, call us and we'll see if we can arrange to borrow some for you. We'll supply bait. We'll fish for small mouth bass and other species in Pool 1 of the Mississippi. $45 per person; youth 17 and under: $30.
