The Magnet Film Club: 42

Together we will watch the 2013 film 42 starring Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford. Synopsis: “'42'tells the story of two men—the great Jackie Robinson and legendary Brooklyn Dodgers GM Branch Rickey—whose brave stand against prejudice forever changed the world by changing the game of baseball." (Swank.com). This film is rated PG-13. The Magnet Film Club watches a variety of films. All are welcome. Funded by Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Closed captions provided upon request and availability.
