Via a January 17 e-newsletter from the Minneapolis Park & Rec Board:

  • Work on the footings and foundations for the new restroom building footing is nearly complete.

  • Utility installation is scheduled to occur over the next few months.

  • Construction progress will slow until spring while the contractor awaits warmer weather to complete the majority of the above ground work
  • With construction having begun in September, the project is planned to be complete by late summer 2020, barring delays due to weather or construction.
