September 8, 2012, Saturday - Open House at MacPhail Center for Music

Location: MacPhail Center for Music, 501 2nd Street South

Mark your calendar for our action-packed open house on Saturday, September 8.
 
9:00am - 12 Noon
For ages birth to 8.  Join us for instrument sampling, sample classes, mini-lessons and a performance by the Jack Brass Band.
 
1:00pm - 4:00pm
The fun continues for ages 9 through adult.
Activities include: live music, sample classes and mini-lessons, and instrument exploration.

Music therapists will also be on hand to answer questions about adaptive lessons and therapeutic sessions for students with special needs.

In the afternoon, Erin Keefe, concert master with the Minnesota Orchestra, will give a free performance in Antonello Hall beginning at 1:30 p.m. and teach a master class from 2-3 p.m. All events are free.
