September 5, 2013, Thursday - Writ Loud at The Loft

Time: 6:30pm

Location: The Loft Literary Center, (Jay Cowles Literary Commons of Open Book), 1011 Washington Ave

Writ Loud

Discover new talent at Writ Loud, the new student reading (and writing) series from The Loft Literary Center. Creative writers from Loft classes will have the chance to take the stage to read original work. All attendees will also produce their own creative pieces.

Theme: “Personals”

LITERARY ARTS CENTER nearing its fourth decade, but still young at heart seeks like-minded individuals to share an evening of reading, writing, and lively community. Drinks on us. YOU: experienced or newbie, 18–99, with a passion for wordplay and bookish humor. Can be content to listen and write, or poised to take the stage; if the latter, please bring up to 4 minutes of poetry or prose on the theme.

You in? RSVP here.
