Musician and author Dessa will visit The Loft for a discussion with writer and thinker Safy-Hallan Farah. They’ll talk craft, discuss Dessa's latest projects, goof off and invite questions from the audience. The event will begin at 7:30, but arrive at 7 for a happy hour at the Cafe, with music from multi-talented performer LOTT. Dessa’s new book (My Own Devices) and recent album (Chime) will be available on site. Dessa will chatting post show, with a Sharpie in hand, happy to sign copies. $10 (members $5).
