September 27, 2011, Tuesday - Local History Round Table: Minnesota and the Civil War at Central Library

Time: 7:00pm-8:00pm

Location: Pohlad Hall at Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall

A look at America’s Civil War and the impact on the young state of Minnesota, which offered the first volunteers and whose soldiers still served after most volunteers went home. Historian Stephen Osman will share his research, colorful images and stories of Minnesotans’ heroic service.
