September 25, 2018, Tuesday - Cheryl Bentyne of The Manhattan Transfer at MacPhail

Cheryl Bentyne will appear in Antonello Hall premiering the release of her solo album, “ReArrangements Of Shadows” featuring the music of Stephen Sondheim in a preview to his 90th milestone. Ms. Bentyne will be supported by Twin Cities instrumentalists Steven Hobert (piano), Graydon Peterson (bass) and Matt Edlund (drums). Ms. Bentyne has been an annual visitor to the Twin Cities performing with her vocal colleagues, Janis, Alan and Trist of The Manhattan Transfer. The 39-year veteran soprano of the Transfer has garnered 10 Grammy awards as a performer and arranger with the iconic vocal quartet. A Q&A session will take place following the concert. A post-concert reception outside Antonello Hall will provide guests with an opportunity to meet the artist.
