September 24, 2018, Monday - 10th Wave Chamber Music Collective Performance at Boom Island Brewing

Time: 7 – 9 pm

Location: Boom Island Brewing, 2014 Washington Avenue N

10th Wave Chamber Music Collective Performance

10th Wave is a local group of passionate, classically trained musicians dedicated to bringing people together around high-caliber performances of traditional and modern music. 10th Wave will perform both old and new compositions for anyone who wishes to intently listen or use as a soundtrack for a conversation in the taproom. Assembled as a collective of musicians -- playing marimba to clarinet to cello -- this ensemble adapts to perform in any configuration from a solo performer to a small chamber orchestra. The composers will include Andy Akiho, Marc Mellits, Astor Piazzolla, Kevin Puts and more. The music is modern, intriguing and slightly high-brow hip. There is no cover for this performance, but a $5/$10 donation is suggested and appreciated. Plan on dining at Boom as well: El Burrito Mercado will be on hand slinging tacos and burritos to all comers.
