Mill City Oktoberfest!
Celebrate Minnesota brewing past and present as Mill City Museum and the Mill City Farmers Market team up for a Mill City Oktoberfest! Enjoy the tastes, smells, sights and sounds of Germany with activities at the Farmers Market, inside the museum and outside in the Ruin Courtyard.

WHAT’S NEW:
- Black Cat Natural Foods will have a special menu this week featuring traditional German foods, including a sauerkraut bar to accompany bratwurst from Kramarczuk’s! They’ll also have Roasted Potatoes with Grüne Sosse and pfeffer-snaps. If you’re lucky, you may even be served your meal by a chef in leiderhosen!
- Bliss has their Fall granola, Pumpkin-Spice, now available through the end of the market season: Wisconsin cranberries, pecans, pepitas, coconut, sesame seeds and flax seeds all tossed and toasted with Minnesota honey, olive oil and the wonderful aroma of fall spices – cinammon, nutmeg, cloves & ginger. Get it while you can!
- Northern Lakes Wild Rice has their 2011 harvest available at the market!
- Did you know you can find wheat-free, dairy-free crepes at Spoonriver’s crepes stand? They’re made with coconut milk, teff, quinoa and sorghum flours. And, they’re now offering a Caramel Apple stuffed crepe! Yum!

Build a Bavarian Bratwurst Burger with the pros at Kramarczuk’s. Join Heather Hartman and Nick Kramarczuk for a demo of culinary creativity with Eastern European sausages!
Live Music, 9:30am – 1:00pm:
Mill City welcomes back long-time market favorite, the Elk River German Band, a 10-musician strong group featuring Bavarian-style German music. Prepare to oumpah-pah!

Have another sausage and local brew, watch a German Folk Art demo, then join Kramarczuk’s for one more demo, this time in the Baking Lab!
