WINE GEEK WEEK AUSTRALIA: HISTORY OF AUSTRALIAN WINE and THE CLASSIC PRODUCERS
The stories and wines of the great founders: Yalumba, Penfolds, Henschke, and more

Goal of the class: To help you understand the impact that key families and companies had in the formation of the Australian wine industry. Also, to teach the centuries old history of Australian wine, and the tens of thousands of years of history of the country and its people. A comprehensive class indeed!

Join us for a special night of learning about the wines of Australia through the lens of history and the founding producers. We will deep dive into the history of this great country, from the mysteries surrounding the native people and how they arrived there, to the European influence as Australia was first settled as a penal colony.

Then we will dive into the world of Australian wine while learning about Penfolds, Yalumba, Wolf Blass, Rosemount, and other wineries that established Australian on the world's wine radar for fine wine.

We will taste a range of six outstanding wines during the program. You'll leave with your curiosity sparked for more from down under!
