“Hop” aboard Metro Transit’s Green Line Light Rail with hundreds of your newest friends and ride the rails to eighteen unique local breweries all within walking distance (1 to 6.5 blocks) of the many stops between Minneapolis and St. Paul!

As you travel down the tracks, you will be treated to special discounts on beer, food, and merchandise at each brewery just for “crawlers”. Throughout this self-guided Light Rail crawl, you can order up pints of exclusive beers, kick back to some live music, make some pit-stops at other local businesses along the route, and of course – taste a wide variety of the finest brews in the Twin Cities!

Your day will begin at one of three centrally located Light Rail stations: Target Field, Stadium Village, or Union Depot (space is limited at each check-in so make sure to get your tickets early to ensure you get your first choice). At check-in, you will receive your super-soft Rails & Ales T-shirt, two tokens redeemable for a delectable pint at any participating brewery, and your event “passport” which will be your guide for all the festivities – including maps, discount information, brewery activities and times, contests, and guides to local bars and restaurants along the way! Once you’ve received your exclusive passport, the road you travel is up to you: travel stop-to-stop, explore new breweries, or visit old favorites. No matter which way you go, you are sure to find new flavors and make new friends during this one-of-a-kind craft beer celebration!

As part of your event ticket, you also gain access to our exclusive access to our hotel blocks at both The Hotel Minneapolis and the Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront, which gets you discounted rooms at both. These discounted rooms are limited so we encourage you to make your reservations early to take advantage of these rates.
