September 20, 2015, Sunday - Minneapolis Bike Tour Starts at Boom Island

Minneapolis Bike Tour

The 9th annual Minneapolis Bike Tour starts and ends at beautiful Boom Island and features three fully supported routes, 16 miles, 25 miles, and 32 miles, that take riders through the spectacular park and byway system of Minneapolis at their own pace, traffic free!

The starting line is at the end of the Plymouth Ave. Bridge at the intersection of Plymouth Ave. and West River Road.

Estimated Route times (including time for water stops)
◾16-mile route times (short route): 8 am–12 pm
◾25 mile route times (intermediate route): 8 am–1:30 pm
◾32 mile route times (long route): 8 am–2:30 pm

The route closes at 2:30pm and re-opens to traffic. Anyone still on the route at 2:30pm may move off the parkway and complete their ride on the paved trails, or they may choose to have a SAG vehicle transport them and their bikes back to the finish.

Post-Ride After Party

Stick around after the ride to enjoy LIVE music, one FREE beer available to participants 21+ (must show valid ID), food from local vendors, exhibitor booths, and Bike Tour merchandise for sale!

The Post-Ride Party is open from 10 am-3 pm, with last call for beer at 2:30 pm. All ages are welcome into the beer garden including family members and spectators. Participants who would like a drink must show their ID and wear a wristband.
