September 18, 2017, Monday - A Conversation with Jostein Gaarder and Lisa Von Drasek at Milkweed

Time: 6:30 PM - 8 PM EDT

Location: Milkweed Books, 1011 Washington Ave S

A Conversation with Jostein Gaarder and Lisa Von Drasek

Join best-selling Norwegian author Jostein Gaarder (Sophie's World) and Lisa Von Drasek, Curator of Children's Literature Research Collections at the University of Minnesota and major voice in the world of children's literature, for an evening of conversation at Milkweed Books, the bookshop located at Open Book. Stick around and celebrate the release of his Gaarder's new picture book, Questions Asked (illustrated by Akin Düzakin), published by Elsewhere Editions. The New York Times Book Review called it, "a simple list of big questions all of us would do well to ask about life and how best to live it..." Refreshments provided, wonderment encouraged. Free and open to the public.
