One Minneapolis One Read: A Choice of Weapons Discussion

Join us for a conversation about the 2013 One Minneapolis One Read book, "A Choice of Weapons," by Gordon Parks. Parks' autobiography, set in the Twin Cities, tells how he managed to escape poverty and bigotry, and launch his distinguished career by choosing the weapons given him by "a mother who placed love, dignity and hard work over hatred." Presented in support of One Minneapolis One Read.
