Tme:  7:00pm

Location: The Loft, Performance Hall, 1011 Washington Avenue South

Evelyn Klein Book Lauch: Seasons of Desire

Join us to hear Evelyn Klein read from her newest book Seasons of Desire. In this book, Evelyn Klein brings to the foreground the positive effects of continuing to develop a person’s potential whether it follows an athletic, occupational, professional, spiritual, or artistic road. It focuses on the fact that it is never too late to follow one’s dreams, to realize one’s potential, giving true meaning to the expression life-long learning and the realization of new goals. The book’s poetry and prose reflect on, project, and celebrate stages of life, detailing people that touch the author’s life, places, holidays, and events. Klein’s artwork of cover and  drawings, that introduce each sections of the of the book, add another perspective, because words are not always enough.

Poet Sharon Chmielarz said, “time is the featured star in Seasons of Desire, time, ‘a river in the great design…’ time may ‘give new direction.’ In her latest book Klein’s ‘New Year’s Prayer’ may well become a tradition at many tables.”

THIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
