September 12, 2015, Saturday - 1st Annual West Bank Block Party

Time: 1pm - 8pm

Location: Riverside Avenue (Between Cedar Avenue & 19th Avenue)

The West Bank Community Coalition is excited to be hosting the 1st Annual West Bank Block Party on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 1-8pm on Riverside Avenue (between Cedar Ave and 19th Ave). This event will provide neighborhood residents with a fun, safe, and free opportunity to connect with city government, local businesses and organizations, and each other.

•Historic Streets | Participate in the unveiling of Oromo Street, Taleex Avenue and Somali Street by Councilmember Warsame’s office.

•Community Engagement | Give feedback at creative public engagement demonstrations and interactive displays of all kinds.

•Exhibits & Displays | Gather information at booths showcasing local government agencies, community organizations, and businesses.

•Entertainment | Fun for both children and adults including performances representing the many cultures and of our neighborhood.
