September 11, 2010, Saturday - 18th Annual James Page Blubber Run

The 18th Annual James Page Blubber Run will start and finish at Father Hennepin Park on the East bank of Mississippi.

Registration, Race Number and Shirt Pick-up opens at 8:00am, and the race starts at 10:01am

If you're not a speedy runner, don't fret -- costumes, creativity and a great sense of fun count most in this 5K race. Bring your friends, bring the pet, bring the kids, wear your goofiest outfit, just show up and join in the fun. About half of the runners do it in costume; the other half are just out for a good run and some very entertaining people watching.

There will be lots of prizes for the Best Costume, Best Group Costume, Best Pet/Human Costume, Best Kid/Adult Collaboration, Fastest Male Runner and Fastest Female Runner. A certified race clock will be at the finish line -- yes, it's a real 5K, with the extra trimmings.

Participants Receive:

•5K Entry
•Fantastic Run
•Participant Party
•2 Beverage Tickets
•T-shirt
•Lunch (brat & fixins)
•Live Music

$35.00 for all of this when you sign-up on or before September 9.
