September 1, 2015, Tuesday - Grand Opening Event – Elliot Park Soccer Field and North Central U’s Homecoming

Join North Central University for its First Ever HOMECOMING Extravaganza on Tuesday, September 1.

Soccer Field Grand Opening / 12:30 p.m.

Officials from North Central, the city of Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, Elliot Park Neighborhood, and Hennepin County will christen our new $1.2 million soccer field with speeches and a ribbon cutting ceremony.

BubbleBall Soccer Tournament
Safer than football, cheaper than hockey, and bouncier than basketball, Bubbleball Soccer is guaranteed to make you spin, bounce, and laugh like no other sport in history! A bubble soccer tournament will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. A ceremony for the tournament winners will be held during half time of the men’s soccer game!

Tailgate Party / 5 p.m.
The biggest outdoor bash in NCU history. Picnic cuisine will be available. Family fun for everyone. Music, yard games, personally guided tours of campus.

NCU Rams vs. Finlandia Lions
Cheer on our men’s and women’s soccer teams as they battle the Finlandia University Lions from Hancock, Mich. This is the NCU community’s chance to put our new homefield advantage to the test. Go Rams!
