Making Comics with Tom Spence

For students ages 12-14

Do you enjoy reading comics? Have you ever thought of making one yourself? In this combo class, you will learn all about the building blocks of comics: panels, text, pacing, and so on, as well as how to conceptualize your characters and story. These combined efforts of form and content will result in a unique comic story of your own making. Students will then venture downstairs to MCBA to bind their original comic book inside a cover they print themselves and construct a portfolio sketchbook.

$55.50 ($49.95 MCBA or Loft members)
