October 4, 2011, Tuesday - One Minneapolis One Read: Voice - The Next Generation at Central Library

Time: 4:00pm - 6:30pm

Location: Pohlad Hall, Central Library

Grades 7-12. Michele Norris will discuss her memoir “The Grace of Silence” and talk about writing as a career at 5 p.m. Local youth art and theater groups and audience members will have a chance to ask questions. Guest hip hop, spoken word and singing artists will perform. Social gathering/reception 4-5 p.m.
One Minneapolis, One Read is presented in collaboration with the City of Minneapolis and Minneapolis Public Schools.
