October 27, 2018, Saturday - Family History Fair at Minneapolis Central Library

Time: 9:00am - 3:15pm

Location: Minneapolis Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall

Schedule of events

Elizabeth Gommoll, professional genealogist will give the keynote presentation on “Where They Once Stood, Finding Your Immigrant Ancestor’s Place of Origin”. Other topics include 3 sessions on using DNA for genealogy, beginning genealogy, using various library databases, and more. There will be a tour of Minneapolis Central’s genealogy resources.

In addition to the information sessions, participants will be able to connect with over thirty genealogical interest group specialists, including Minnesota Territorial Pioneers, Minnesota Genealogical Society, Hennepin History Museum, Norwegian-American Genealogy Association, Romanian Genealogy Society and more.
