Today at Mill City Farmers Market

Join us for our final regular season Market of the year!  There is an abundance of fresh, fall produce waiting for you to take home.  Remember, the season never ends at Mill City– our Winter Markets begin November 10th inside the Mill City Museum!  We will be here every SECOND SATURDAY of each month from November 10th – April 13th!

Produce Planner:
Radishes, spinach, spring salad mixes, garlic, carrots, beets, fresh herbs, kale, Swiss chard, collards, peppers, sweet and red onions, red potatoes, brussel sprouts, heirloom tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, eggplant, delicata, acorn, and butternut squash, cabbage, green grapes, sweet corn, pumpkins, apples, and more!

Mill City Cooks, 10 am:
Chef Heather Hartman and daughter Josephine will be keeping us warm today with a demonstration of Miso Soup with Market Vegetables!

Live Music/Entertainment, 11 am to 1 pm: Moonlight Duo is back!
The Moonlight Duo is Mary DuShane & Nick Jordan.  The Duo serves up a wide-ranging repertory of traditional Southern roots music, featuring bluesy old time songs, plus Appalachian and Irish dance tunes, spiced with Cajun and country swing.

Artist in Residence, all day:
Designer UNDIs present Architecture of the Table.  Swing by the community booth to see quick preservation and decoration methods for your dinner table.  Also pick up free tips for extending the shelf-life of your purchases from this last farmers market!

Meet Your Vegetables, 9 am (while supplies last)
Watch and learn how to make Kale Pesto!  Visit UMN Public Health Nutrition grad students for a unique twist on this leafy green & take a recipe home with you!

Art Market, all day:
Plantworn, Anna Metcalfe, Barn Swallow Garden, and Stirsby!
