October 22, 2015, Thursday - East Downtown Council Forum at the Guthrie

Time: Registration, lunch and networking starts at 11:30 a.m., with presentations starting at Noon.

Location: The Guthrie, Level 5 Cafe

You are cordially invited to join the East Downtown Council (EDC) for the next EDC Business Forum. The title of this month’s event is, “Introducing Joseph Haj, New Artistic Director for the Guthrie Theater.”

The cost to attend the forum is just $20. Attendees can pay by cash or check at the door.

FORUM DESCRIPTION

The EDC October business forum will feature the newly appointed Guthrie Theater Artistic Director Joseph Haj. Mr Haj will discuss a future vision for the Guthrie Theater’s programming and engagement with the broader community, including how the Guthrie will lead the way in accessibility and innovation in theater arts. As a bonus we have the privilege of hearing from Jennifer Halcrow, VP of Advancement at MacPhail Center for the Music, discussing Minnesota’s Creative Index and how the arts are transforming economic vitality in our region and beyond.
