October 22, 2011, Saturday - Family History Fair at Central Library

Time:  9:30 am - 2:00pm

Location:  Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall

Interested in researching your family tree?  A "Family History Fair" will be presented at the Central Library. The program is free and registration begins September 24. Register online or call 612-843-8000.

Geneology experts will present information sessions on resources available, how to gather family stories, and useful software. Ethnic and genealogy interest tables staffed by local and national organizations will also be available.  Free talks by genealogy experts are scheduled from 10:00am to 1:00pm. 

Hennepin County Library's websiteoffers many additional resources for family history researchers. Free access to recommended websites and significant databases are available through the genealogy subject guides.
