October 20, 2016, Thursday - East Town Business Partnership Business Forum

The next East Town Business Partnership Business Forum  is scheduled for Thursday, October 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Thrivent Financial, 625 Fourth Avenue S, in Conference Room 270.

It was Greek philosopher Heraclitus who said “the only thing that is constant is change.” Could he possibly have imagined the speed of change in the 21st century and what your business must do to navigate change in our time?

The October business forum is unique from many others in that we will hear some practical advice from a specialist on change management. Lori J. Abrams, Ph.D. is an award winning faculty member in the Department of Strategic Management at the University Of Minnesota Carlson School Of Management and is a licensed mediator. She is also an Organizational Development consultant specializing in negotiation and the communication of change.

Attend this forum to learn insightful aspects of organizational change and essential practices for communicating change both internally within your organization and externally to your constituents.

You must register and pay in advance for this business forum.  The cost to attend this month's business forum is $20.  The registration deadline is October 17, 2016.  Please note, no cash payments will be taken on the day of the event.

* If you paid for lunch tickets with your membership, please contact ETBP Executive Coordinator Christie Rock Hantge at info@easttownmpls.org for a coupon code to use on the registration Website.

Future dates: 2016: November 17, December 15; 2017: January 19, February 16, March 16, April 20, May 18, June 15
