October 16, 2010, Saturday - Childish Films - HALLOWEEN TOONS FOR TOTS at the Central Library

Time: 10:30am

Location: Pohlad Hall at the Minneapolis Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall

HALLOWEEN TOONS FOR TOTS: Vintage cartoons with skeletons, spiders, and spooks plus a couple of monster films comprise this year’s Halloween program of slightly scary delights. Make your own Halloween craft to take home. Come in costume! There will be a parade around the auditorium before the films.

For kids in preschool (age 3) and up and their families. Children's film curators for the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival will present a pre-show art activity and educational intro for children's film fans before each screening. Admission is free with open seating. Visit http://www.supporthclib.org/ for a complete schedule of films and descriptions.

This activity is made possible in part by a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Presented by the Library Foundation of Hennepin County. Support provided by Whole Foods Market, Weston Wood Studios and Minnesota Parent.
