Franklin Avenue Bridge Opening Celebration!

The Franklin Bridge (and the protected bikeways and trails leading up to and connected to it) is finally open to cars, and mostly open to bikes and peds. This is something to celebrate!

More details about programming coming up soon, but let's get together for a bike and walk parade (with fun activities for kids and adults before and after) as we celebrate the bridge, and HOPEFULLY swtich on the VERY FIRST bike counter* in Minneapolis! You count!

*Fingers crossed- there may be technical delays which mean we can't be the first to be counted but I am hopeful...

Save the date! Here is the tentative schedule:
10:15 Welcome speech by Commissioner McLaughlin
10:30 Bike walk parade, and (hopefully) turn on the counter!
10:45-12p More fun activities!
