October 14, 2017, Saturday - Green Line Tour with the Preservation Alliance of MN
Time: 9am-12pm
Location: Target Field Station
Transit Tour Series: Green Line
Registration is available online through the Preservation Alliance of MN website, www.mnpreservation.org. $25 (includes light rail fare)
With much of the line built along University Avenue, the old Twin Cities interurban spine, a trip along the Green Line highlights historic institutions of education and government as well as many preservation efforts to adapt old spaces for new purposes.
From one transit hub to another, we'll start at Target Field Station and end at the restored Union Depot in St. Paul. If you want to grab lunch when the tour ends, you'll be near the St. Paul Farmer's Market--or you can stop for lunch at one of University Avenue's acclaimed restaurants.
Students can attend our transit tours for half-price! Use the code STUDENT when registering.
